Newlands Agility Trophies 2020

Agility Trophies are awarded to Newlands Members who have accrued the most points in their category during the current year.
Rules
  1. Handlers must be a full member of Newlands Working Dog Society and have paid their subscription for the current year.
  2. Results will be counted from KC Registered shows only.
  3. Points can be counted for the year from 1st January 2020 to 31st December 2020.
  4. When claiming points the show, date, class and place must be stated.  The administrator reserves the right to assess whether the show is eligible under the above guidelines.
  5. Placed points can only be claimed if a placed rosette is      presented by the show, otherwise clear round points must be claimed for. Clear round points can be claimed for even if clear round rosettes are not given by the show, but must be within the course time.
  6. Points can be claimed for all standard classes, including    Championship qualifying rounds (not the final) but not special classes, teams, trios, pairs, knockouts, finals or pay on the day classes.
  7. The Dog will remain in the grade it starts in for the duration of that year.
  8. Final results for the year must be received by 31st December 2020 either on line or by email to: NewlandsAgility@f2s.com
  9. Points are claimed for the dog & handler, so points cannot be claimed for when the dog is run by another handler.
  10. Results will be announced at Newlands AGM in January 2021.
11.      Points will count for awards in the following categories:-
         a.     Jack Bell Trophy – Highest points for an ABC dog
         b.     Mini Cup – Highest points for a small dog
         c.     Kasper Cup – Highest points for a medium dog
         d.     Huckleberry Cup – Highest points for a Starter dog                      (Grades 1&2)
         e.     Novice Tankard – Highest points for a Novice Dog                      (Grades 3&4)
         f.      Senior Goblet – Highest points for a Senior Dog                              (Grades 5-7)
         g.     Open Cup – Highest overall points for any dog                                from Kennel Club Registered shows
         h.     UKA Show Points – Handlers to submit points on the                  same basis as above for places and clear
                 rounds gained at UKA shows. These points will not
                 count towards trophies for KC classes.
          i      Megan Memorial Trophy - Highest points for a rescue
                 dog.
Points can be claimed from all shows including
                 unaffiliated , but not 'club only' shows, 
                  matches, leagues or fun days.

                         

Points may be submitted for a maximum of two categories per dog each year.
Points will be awarded as follows:
Standard Agility & Jumping Classes

3rd place       18 points
4th place        17 points
5th place        16 points
6th place        15 points
7th place        14 points
8th place        13 points
9th place        12 points
10th place      11 points
11th place      10 points
12th place        9 points
13th place         8 points
14th place         7 points
15th place         6 points
16th place         5 points
17th place         4 points
18th place         3 points
19th place         2 points
20th place          1 point

1 Point will also be awarded for clear rounds within the course time for Standard Agility and Standard Jumping Classes
